"Playing an unrehearsed concert with musicians you've never worked with before is a crap shoot.  As I critiqued this live recording for release, I found several reasons to consider shelving it.  But the opportunity to present an afternoon of music with keyboard player Rob Mullins and his wonderful group of musicians made up for any imperfections I heard in the tracks.  Rob has since ventured into areas far beyond the scope of this recording, which makes the pleasure of having worked with him that much greater.  We ran out of tape on a couple of occasions but decided to keep those broken segments for the sake of content; one of which includes a Q & A session demonstrating rack mount effects with the steel guitar.  All things considered, I'd say the concert "has it's moments", and I give thanks to my friends Wayne Yakes and John Macy for preserving this piece of history.  It brought back some memories for me and I hope it leaves you with a few".
