Hi Sam. It was a stereo configuration so one side was tuned at + 1 and the other, -1. One more notch each way probably wouldn't hurt, but that's a judgement call. As for how much of it goes in the mix, I like to set effects of that type at levels you can feel but not hear enough to know what's going on.
