I don't know what your present pickup is but if it's an E-66, keep it. The MCI was the cabinet we mounted the test pickups in when we were trying to simulate the sound of a 1966 bolt on model Emmons, so it's an excellent match. I used an MCI with an E66 pickup on my Christmas album.
