I know you have been asked about blocking a 1000 times, but I am new on your website. I started playing steel over 50 years ago, and used the bar to block (lifting it), which is probably the poorest way to do it. But I still cannot palm block effectively. I cannot put my pinky on the 1st string...it screws up my pick approach. Is there any significance in to doing this. Suggestions please, thanks.
