That means there's an excellent chance the settings are not what I would use if I'd had the time to set and field-test it myself. The tone problem in the midrange has been a battle for almost everybody I know with every brand of guitar and effects processor out there, which leads me to believe the answer has to be at the end of the chain. When I was using two amps, I couldn't dial the mid frequencies without affecting the top or bottom, so I would set one amp for the mids I wanted and the other to restore and round out the overall sound.
