In 1956, I read that a man opened a gate by having devices taped to his head that read brain waves and sent them to a controller on the gate. When he thought about opening the gate, it opened. Ever since, I've imagined a tone changer setup that would respond to brain waves. I figured if you could send a thought or message to your foot, why not a controller that would respond according to the speed or feel your brain demanded of it. I did an interview in a 1957 edition of Music City News that had the article with the heading, "Think Changes?" Like you said, "what the heck," if you're going to think, think big. It may never happen but that's where my head was in the fifties. Last changed: August 02, 2015 |
