A more feasible feature that would minimize tuning drift in all pull guitars would be positive stops on raises and lowers. Most present day all-pull systems rely on the length of the pull rod to determine the pitch of a note. When the temperature drops, a pull rod cools and the notes pull sharp. When the room warms up, they pull flat. Allowing around 1/8" pedal travel beyond the raise and lower finger stops would take care of the problem. Positive stops are what made the push-pull guitars stay in tune so well.
